- Qingda
Alex started studying Chinese Martial Arts with Chen Wu Kuan under Professor
Raymond Smith in 1993. He has during this time studied Modern Taolu with the
British Wushu Team under Mr Han whilst working towards his NVQ Level 2 in Chinese Martial Arts.
Alex has also been qualified as a European Judge in Modern Taolu officiating at
competitions in both the UK and Europe. He entered the Qingda arena first as a
competitor and then progressing to judge, referee, Head Judge and finally Chief Head Judge. Alex is currently the authority on Qingda for the BCCMA managing
competitions and training new officials.
