This course is open to BCCMA Members only 18 years or older who has considerable knowledge and experience of Sanda. The course  is FREE to BCCMA members on production of a valid and up to date BCCMA licence.

The course will start at  10 am  and finish around  4pm

This will also be a good opportunity to meet / train with the Sanda GB Squad from 15:00 – 18:00 if they wish.

The course will cover all aspects for officiating Sanda & Qingda at National Level.

The IWUF Wushu Sanda Competition Rules and Judging Methods will be used.

(Course also acts as a refresher for existing EWUF and IWUF officials to be updated with the new rules).

The course will cover the IWUF/EWUF rules for SANDA. These rules are used at all BCCMA run SANDA events and ratified by the IWUF which is recognised by the IOC.

BCCMA Governing Body course open for all martial artists with current BCCMA membership.
The course will be taught by Shaun Kara IWUF & EWUF certified Sanda Judge.

(We highly recommend all competing clubs, send at least 1 person to the course).

The course will cover the IWUF Wushu Sanda Competition Rules & Judging Methods used.

The practical experience element will then be continued on July 15th Novice Sanshou and Qing Da competition (Hatfield) where you can work with an experienced judge.
– On successful completion of both elements – you will be awarded a Judges certificate.

 

The course will cover the IWUF/EWUF rules for SANDA. These rules are used at all BCCMA run SANDA events and ratified by the IWUF which is recognised by the IOC. During the course you will learn the rules and the meanings behind them, and the application during competition. It is advised that participants review the rules on the EWUF/ IWUF websites to customize to them. Building on this, you could be offered opportunities to officiate at European and International events.

By Car: M23 Jn.11. Follow signs to A23 Crawley, Right filter lane at first set of traffic lights (Approx 1 mile – Ample free parking)
By Rail: Crawley or Ifield stations.
By Metrobus:
Number 2 from Ifield via Crawley town centre, terminates at K2.
Number 20 from Three Bridges Station and town centre and number 10 from Gatwick and town centre stops at Southgate Avenue (a short walk from K2).
