The course examines the rules that will be used at the following events.

  • British Junior Light Sanda Championships 2024 on Sunday 7th July 2024
  • National Junior Qingda championships 2024 on Saturday 2nd November 2024.

The course will give a clearer understanding of the judging and scoring criteria and how to apply them fairly and objectively.

At this course we will look more closely at the ‘push outs and exits’ often mis-used and mis-judged at the competitions.

Successful candidates who have successfully officiated at a BCCMA Sanda or Light Sanda (Qingda) event will be issued with the BCCMA Official Sanda Judges Certificate valid for 3 years.

It is requirement that qualified judging officials attend events as often they are needed.

The course will take place annually in advance of the competition. Its purpose is to train judges for our National Sanda & Light Sanda (Qingda) competitions. Judges are expected to attend the National Sanda & Light Sanda (Qingda) events before certificates are issued. The course involves a thorough analysis and explanation of all aspects of the rules with discussion and demonstration. In this respect it is extremely useful for instructors wishing to properly prepare their students for the competition.
