This course examines the rules that will be used at BCCMA National Shuai Jiao Championships 5th November 2023 and will teach judging & scoring criteria and how to apply them fairly and objectively.

Successful candidates who have successfully officiated at a BCCMA National Shuai Jiao Championships will be issued with the BCCMA Official Shuai Jiao certificate valid for 3 years.

The course is intended for those who already have a deep understanding and have been training in Shuai Jiao for 2 years or more.

The course will start at 3:00 pm and finish around 6:00 pm

 

This course will take place once a year in advance of the competition. Its purpose is to train judges for the National Shuai Jiao competitions. Judges are expected to attend a National Shuai Jiao event before certificates are issued. The course involves a thorough analysis and explanation of all aspects of the rules with discussion and demonstration. In this respect it is extremely useful for instructors wishing to properly prepare their students for the competition.

Please bring / wear loose clothing as some judging / refereeing will be practiced.
