The course examines the rules that will be used at the British National Traditional Taolu Championships – July 2024.
The course will give a clearer understanding of the judging and scoring criteria and how to apply them fairly and objectively.
Successful candidates who have successfully officiated at a British National Traditional Taolu Championships event will be issued with the BCCMA Official Judges Certificate valid for 3 years.
It is requirement that qualified judging officials attend events as often they are needed.

The course is free to BCCMA members on production of a valid and up to date BCCMA licence.
The course is intended for those who already have a deep understanding of traditional Wushu and the characteristics of various styles, with minimum of 3 years experience as practitioner.
The course will start at 10:00 am and finish around 4:00 pm.
for our National Traditional Taolu competitions. Judges are expected to attend the
National traditional Taolu Championships event before certificates are issued. The course
involves a thorough analysis and explanation of all aspects of the rules with discussion and
demonstration. In this respect it is extremely useful for instructors wishing to properly prepare their students for the competition.
