Bryan Andrews – Chairperson, Equality & Diversity

Bryan Andrews is the BCCMA Chairperson as an Executive Officer on the BCCMA committee. Bryan’s has an additional role of Equality & Diversity.
Bryan started his Martial Arts practice in 1981 and has practiced Kung Fu (5th Degree Black Belt) and Tai Chi for 38 and 30 years respectively. He is a professional Martial Arts coach with a large membership split across diverse arts. He acts as a mentor to other Martial Arts coaches to help them to develop their clubs, both in terms of coaching practice and also their approach to running their clubs. He has 15 years’ experience in Management Consultancy for global consultancies and another 15 years operating at Director level within businesses. As a coach he holds a Level 7, Master’s degree in Advanced Sports Coaching Practice focussing on Martial Arts from Sheffield Hallam University and is a BCCMA Level 3 coach, British Judo Association Level 5 Coach and UKCC Level 4 coach. He has been a Level 1 and Level 2 National Course tutor since 2017.
